Look At Me Final

This is it... after weeks of reviewing and modeling different pictures, i have come to a final set of five models that showed exactly what i wanted through Richard Avedon portraits  of his model. I wanted to copy his style of art that he used to show the  images of normal students that are not in magazines. I want to tell a story though my images, and how different emotions can be in an instant of just being yourself.

After doing this assignment three times, i've come to the conclusion that these portraits are used to show the self expression of people. These pictures show different emotions that show the very detail of who this person is. Self expression is the key in my project, and this is what i want to show my viewers

This is my Second Posting of my draft. I wanted to mix up the emotions coming from different gender back grounds to see the comparison of each facial expression.

Fatima's Series

My project expresses different types of emotions and the idea of beauty of the human face.  This is my first set of pictures of  teenaged women. I took pictures of my classmates and their facial expression, i noticed that all of them are different, depending on how they feel. I used black an white backgrounds to extract from the loud colors. I wanted to express the teen life style and student facial contact. For example: the circles under their eyes, their blemishes, their hair, if it was messy or not. I wanted to express realism in regular life of teen women. 

Halloween themed

SInce it was Halloween, we made images of that theme. My first two pictures are by this website that helps edit images, called Picnik. it was really useful. the other two are images that i took in the bathroom with my models that helped make the images spooky...

Short Stories Pic

In this activity we made short stories by taking three photos. This activity was very fun and creative. Though it was a challenge to come up with an interesting story, i think i made a great effort into coming up with good short stories. This project really taught me how you can make three images turn out to be a story that shows a lot.

IN this project We took pictures with toys and a cool background and learned how to have a setting, but also learning how to focus on one thing. So you can see how different the setting is when you look at the image. This project reminded me of For ground background images we did a while ago, but this time it had a different effect on the image. I enjoyed doing this project because we got to choose our own background and our own setting/story.
